What a wonderful phrase
Ain’t no passing craze
It means no worries
For the rest of your days
It’s our problem-free philosophy
That song really represents our free-spirited soul, don’t you agree? OU get that most of us often crave new fun ways to spend our spare time. Yes, we stand with all holiday-seekers who always hope that tomorrow will change into ‘’tanggal merah’’ a.k.a day off. Sadly, this year it’s hardly happening because we have to accept the fact that a lot of Indonesian public holidays fall on weekends. But, worry no more! You can have a short holiday with style with Nuvantara.
If you’re wondering what Nuvantara is, it is a campervan trip based on Yogyakarta that brings a new concept to enjoy your short holiday. Last week OU has been so lucky to meet Naufal Huda, one of the co-founders of Nuvantara. He shared stories about this impressive business that was started in 2018.
The idea was brought up by Naufal and his three friends, Harun, Farzhika and Azra who have a heartening vision to bring more colours in travel and tourism industry. They start this business by focusing on integrating local empowerment to their trip. The general idea is to take their participants to discover Yogyakarta’s hidden experiences and workshops.
With Nuvantara, you can choose a trip package that suits you and your squad. In this one-day trip, they will take you travelling around the city of Yogyakarta in a classic Volkswagen combi before you finally reach the camping destination which is located in Sermo Reservoir (Waduk Sermo) in Kulon Progo. You also can enjoy campfire, barbecue and watching movie under the stars. This is truly a trip to chill and take a rest from your hectic routine.
Moreover, Nuvantara can take you to meet local communities as well as introduce you to the its culture and micro business enterprises. They prepare some experiences that you can choose: cigar making, souvenir shopping, pottery making, exploring Yogyakarta’s culinary and watching the process of making coconut palm sugar. You can even hire a personal photographer to capture the memories. We heard that the photographer is very active and skillful. You won’t need to worry about having no good photos to post on your social media.
Psst, Naufal also said that they will collaborate with one of media from our neighbouring country to introduce Nuvantara to international audience. Wow, we can actually let tourists know more about Indonesia in a cool way!
We know that you’re as excited as us and probably wondering, what about other cities? Are they only doing this in Yogyakarta? Good news, guys! There’s already a plan to bring Nuvantara to other areas, such as East Java. Can you guess which city it’s going to be? Well, let’s hope it’s happening soon!
You can find out more about them in their Instagram @Nuvantara and feel free to ask them about the trip by DM or the contact number available.
Chilling by the lake and stargazing with your loved ones wouldn’t be just a dream no more! We already think about taking OUr friends and family to make new memories with Nuvantara. How about you?
