OU CHILL came back with recommendation of a cool place you should visit! This time is for anyone who’s been looking for a new place to hang with your friends or finish your deadline. You know, it’s all of us! Well, Tuang Coffee could be the perfect place for you. This successfully becomes one of OU’s favorite coffee shops in town. Read the rest of the article to find out why!
This coffee shop is unlike any other coffee shops you usually find in Jakarta. Tuang Coffee is located in the same building with an art gallery, D Gallerie. You can easily find it next to the crossroad on Jalan Barito I No. 3, South Jakarta. You don’t have to worry about the parking spot because there’s plenty. Just push the wooden door, turn right and enter the coffee shop behind the glass door.
The interior is spacious and clean, surrounded with white walls decorated with colorful murals. You can hear some music being played but fret not, it wasn’t too loud. It sure won’t bother you when you’re working or having a conversation with your friends. You can even choose to sit inside or in the outdoor seating area.
Anyway, what OU loves the most is this coffee shop is dog friendly! Yep, they know many of you just can’t leave your furry best friends at home. So you can bring them to relax here with you too. Just make sure they behave with people and other dogs. 😉
Its specialty is, of course, coffee! Their coffee is made from Flores coffee beans. OU tried the hot cappuccino and it tasted wonderful. Definitely will go back there to try different type of coffee! Also, the food is pretty good even though OU only tried the Poffertjes which was so fluffy and served with a chocolate dipping sauce.
A morning without coffee is like… sleep. Fret not! You can enjoy their coffee every day from 08.00-22.00. Say no to depresso!
Unleash your inner artsy soul and step inside the art gallery. When OU visited the place, there was an exhibition titled Spatial Traces. It’s a duo exhibition by Bunga Yuridespita and Erwin Windu Pranata. It’s probably changed every now and then, why not check it out yourself?
Visit their Instagram @tuangcoffee to get more info about this gem. You can even see the step-by-step production process of the coffee used in Tuang Coffee in their Instagram highlight story.
